Thank you, to everyone, for viewing my portfolio page. I welcome all comments and visitors. Any requests or commissions are welcome. I am from the New York, Putnam County area. Just outside of Garrison and only a 90 minute train ride away from Manhattan. One of my goals after posting my portfolio on artistportfoilio.net, besides exposing my art, is to meet fellow artists in my area. My main influences range from Picasso, to Francis Bacon, to Ingres, to Cezanne, Pierre Bonnard, Matisse, and John Currin. I have pieces for sale in Oil. I mostly work in Oil paint on canvas, which I stretch and prime myself, but I also draw with pretty much anything majority of the time (Charcoal, pen, pencil, etc).
Biography: Nicholas Fanzo was born in the NYC borrow of the Bronx in December of 1980. At the age of 10, he and his mother (a single parent) moved into Putnam County. Ever since childhood he has produced drawings and paintings at time being called obsessed by art. Fanzo has no former training and is completely self-taught as an artist. Taking information from anatomy books and art history, he has managed to develop a personal style all his own. He currently lives in Carmel, NY just outside of Garrison, NY and only a 90 minute ride away from Manhattan.
